I have blossoms on all 7 of my Jan 1st starts. Unfortunately none of them are special. Looks like the majority are doubles and maybe even a couple that could be singles. Inducing flowering at 4 inches of plant height is probably not the best approach for heavy. This planting was for a time deadline though...still will be trying for 2+ pounds to be able to tell growers than Jan 1st might not be too late. I gave up on the foliar nutrient blast to cause ribbon megas. I think that the leaves would burn way before the needed quantity of nutrients would be absorbed into the plant. Hydro or Aeroponic might be the only methods where the nutrient blast could work. The abililty to completely change the nutrient levels at the roots in 10 minutes is a great advantage. What you put into the soil is going to be there for a long time.
