Tonight is blast one. On the left, I have two 2.73's grown from the 6.88 MacCoy. On the right, I have two 4.38's grown from the 6.79 Sutherland. After the lights are out, one right and one left will get a foliar nutrient blast. I have a few hours before blast off to decide if the difference between left and right will be nutrient strength or nutrient ratio. This is an experiment to get ready for summer. In hydro, I can do a blast and flush the system a few days later. In soil, I am stuck with whatever I drench it with. I am hoping that with foliar, I can get the same effect, but can recover faster than if it is a drench in soil. Not much to lose..I am expecting these plants to go down from root disease before any tomato is ripe. 90 degrees wet environment is too favorable for root pathogens. If I can curly top one of the two blasted, I will consider this experiment successful.
