The forgotten 5. The slowest growers of the late starts have ended up here. If my grow room was cooler these plants would be quite content. As it is,with my grow room at 85 degrees with high intensity light shining on black buckets the roots will be in about 90 degree solution. This causes two problems. Warm water holds less dissolved oxygen than cool water. To correct for this condition I am trying twin air stones bubbling at a rate of 4 liters air per gallon of solution per minute. The second problem is root disease can thrive at these temps. I have added Hydroguard (Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) at about double strength to combat this. If any of these plants survive my experimentations for the next 3 weeks, I should have a chilled bucket become available.
