More indoor tomato posts. My breeder plants are up in ten gallon pots. 8 for 8 for germination, 2 in each pot. I have one pot with two seedlings from the largest Brutus Magnum ever grown, 6.13 Zappa. This will be the mother plant. In three other pots I have seedlings from my 3.96 which has a genetic line of 3.96 Bnot-6.83 Fulk-4.62 Fulk-6.51 Meisner-7.33 Hunt. My goal 1st round cross...biggest brutus magnum x biggest progeny Hunt strain Delicious. I am only going to emasculate the brutus magnum and use the three delicicious plants as pollinators. If round one yields seeds, round two will be crossing those seeds with both progeny from a wixom slammer and the biggest megamutt so far grown. Hoping next spring you can help me name this 4 and 5 variety gene scramble.
