I just got verification from Guinness that I now have the official heaviest carrot in the world! Woohoo! I wanted to give a special thanks to Ian Paton. He helped streamline this process with Guinness in getting the record approved for me. Thank you Sir! It just speaks volumes about how he feels about the growing community and helping his fellow growers. He stood to gain nothing from helping me out but was more than happy to lend a hand. I really appreciate it Ian and thank you again!...... and since you couldn't officially get to hold the carrot I did the next best thing for you. :) You might want to frame this Ian, that's one hell of a catch!
