LESSON LEARNED: Don't ever (NEVER) work with people who have never loaded Atlantic Giant Pumpkins before!

A careless tractor operator dropped a loading bucket one to one and a half feet on top of my head causing me to hit the dirt, stunned all to shit. After swearing profusely and letting the crew know I was done for the day, I sat for a while, drank some water, and let the ill-assorted guards do the rest of the loading of several pumpkins by themselves.

I drove to the ER room to get checked out and was told I have a mild concussion--and was lucky it wasn't worse.

I'm currently eating a salad and getting used to the fact I'm still alive.

Life is full of things to be thankful for...
