Ohhh There's our girl...truth is...to say that we are inside out and sideways wouldn't even come close to describing how we are feeling about this one ...Lily was going to be 8 yrs old this Halloween and was the absolute love of our life..the doc said it was probably a heart tumor but the X-ray showed her heart had filled her entire chest cavity...(so she pretty much died because her heart was too big...)
Shock shock shock...
There's a saying about the border collie, something like "once you befriend a border collie any other dog is just a dog"...it's true...she was so smart...I remember having a 20 minute discussion with her in the spring about taking the chimney out of the house so she would have more room to run and so daddy could peek in and catch her sleeping on the couch before I got home to see her ...of course...we took it out...she was our everything...
