Now that all my tomatoes are set..well almost all (the 8.41 MacCoy runt has yet to join the party..maybe it wants to go to Stillwater) I can now bore you with pictures of small tomatoes at hammock stage. On my time plan I hope to have the majority of the plants in slings at 15-16 inches by September 1st. I have divided my garden by environmental favorability. The winner of each area will have at least one seed planted in the full garden next year. Already,I know the winner of the 15 gallon semi-shaded group. This 2.50 Borgers (grown from the 6.83 Fulk) is the only surviving plant. Last summer it was my first weighed tomato. Was my personal best for a few days, beating my previous pb 1/2 pound winter tomato. Wonder if it will break 2.5. At 16 inches right now. There is a bit satisfaction in growing some of your own seeds.
