Still 6 for 6… (How much longer will it last?)
Every time I walk into the patch I am reminded of that fateful hail storm. The older leaves that were damaged are showing advanced aging. Also, large scale growers are reporting higher incidence of SVB (Squash Vine Borer) egg laying near hail damage holes so this is something to keep in mind when scouting.
So far, I still have six pumpkins for my six plants, which at least to this point I feel very fortunate.
