Right or wrong I made my pruning decision on the ribboned 8.61 Sutherland. This blossom was right in the middle of 6 to 7 fused vines. Thru the past few days I have been snipping the vines off to give the blossom some place to grow. If the blossom can develop now and set it will have a huge hose to feed it. All new growth is now terminated. If it doesn't set, I will let the plant go without pruning to see if it can put out some seeds. At this point it is in the time window when it could be a fall weighoff contender.
