And here is a big ass ribbon mega from the 5.55 Caleb White. A seed straight from my home state of Alaska. There is a good cluster of flowers at the end. Took the toothbrush to it this morning and the pollen flew! It's a good sign anyway. More flowers will be opening up in the coming days. This is a good example of first flowers. The plant doesn't have its act together yet as far as organization of flowers until the 2nd trusses on up. You guys want more of these, plant early in the garden after the first few leaves like Wixom Chris does. This is where I got the idea. I did it this year and it's working. Don't let them grow for too long in the pots. By the time the first flowers arrive the roots and plants need to be established and ready to support a monster on the first flowers, otherwise those first flowers will dry up and blow away.
