An update from the Oakhurst Community garden plots. In this photo, the FVPD decided to sponsor Charity Booms. Interesting, since they have shown zero interest in the garden plots for years!! Lots of weeds - great crop!! They have 6 plots=3600 sf and three approximately 50 gallon trash cans for water. 160 tomato pants engulfed in weeds! Squash plants attacked by bugs and disease!! I am waiting to see just how much this backbone of sponsorship plans to do to care for all the plants or even what they plan to offer in $$.
