And so the task of cleaning began. The left side took us all day due to the extend of the rust! We also learned that we won't be buying the brand BrakeBest again! The pads were sold with the hardware included, but were shipped without it; the caliper brackets were sold as prepared to be installed for my car, but instead came rough machined and and incorrectly sized for bolt diameter and hole into the steering knuckle; and one of the new caliper guide pin boot bolts sheared when applying 24 ft-lbs of torque even though the Haynes manual stated to torque those to a range between 25-54 ft-lbs.
