The exiled 2624 with split stem is growing almost as fast as everybody else, now that he’s gotten over the shock of transplant to an away section of the patch. The interior of the split has gotten leather-like and actually appears like the outside of an intact stem. Don’t know what I’m going to do with him. He looks beautiful. Best if I can get a mature pumpkin of any size to harvest the seeds, as it will have been pollinated by either itself, the 2048 or the orange 1495 – all a great potential for 2018.
