On the other hand... all of these were germinated in ordinary garden soil AND the soil was overly wet. No fancy care at all... 53 of 72. This was random seed from the floor sweepings jar with a fancy setup and good sterile soil maybe a dozen more would have made it. I dont know the what the percentage of viable seed was but clearly yes it's possible to save money and cull out the weak ones at the same time ha ha. You can see I'm not very professional.
