I plant is one from 272.5 Neptune 2014. This plant is a little small yet but two melons now pollinated on this plant. one a couple of days earlier than the other. The other is more stocky and thicker stem. The first is longer but doesn't have as thick of a stem as the other and it is off a side runner of the main runner. If I leave this one on it might put stress on the roots base as it gets bigger. The other thicker one is about 5 feet from the root base. I have to cull one soon. I like the length of the first one but not the thinner stem or closeness to root base. I have the solution, I will just ask my wife what to d...lol (This pic was taken last week).
