Rain poured down last night. More rain is forecast for this afternoon and tonight. I'm nixing the mixing of potting soil for my planting holes. Wet heavy clay is worse than heavy clay.
Today is the day I water all my plants in the house. This will take at least a couple of hours. Tomorrow, I will put together a temporary hoop house for the tomato plants and raise an electric heater on a concrete block to keep it 50 to 60° inside at night.
I am impatiently waiting for my sprouted pumpkin seeds to break soil in their peat pots.
