Weather is turning good after a week of cool and wet...
The 1623.5 is being a beast and will be hard to cut off the vine in a short 21 days, if it is still growing at the pace it is now. We can't count on going heavy like we have in previous years and the retired Dentist in Richmond appears to have me beat by about 100 lbs the last time we checked.
Day 70 tomorrow for Andrea's entry for Howard Dill Award at this year at Krause Farm Weighoff. I see Kate Mumford has her share of beauties in the patch this year, and there3 is another gorgeous pumpkin out in the Valley, but the rest of the guys have ugly grubs on the vine this year.
