I DID however, start to get tomatoes this week! My initial thoughts were that if this plant were going to fail, it would happen at the time of fruiting because that would be the heaviest draw of energy and any incompatibilities would be magnified. These tomatoes prove that the two plants are indeed very closely compatible and gave my project at least a 50% success for the first year out. I'll still be keeping a close eye on them, but I don't see why they'd get this far and fail now. Next year, I'll try allowing the suckers to grow after the graft has taken, but this year I wanna keep it the same until it's finished.
