Third we have the 1143 Engel. This plant started out ok, but didn't vine out like the others. When it did, it was missing a lot of secondaries and a lot of the leaves were mis-shapen. The first two pumpkins that I set on this plant had lobes that weren't completely formed, and had seeds growing on the outside of them. Rather than pull the plant, the third one set was ok, so I decided to experiment with it.
