This afternoon I constructed a larger hoop house over the 1734.5 Clementz 15 plant. It had one that was about 4'X 3'. Now it's got one that's about 10'X 6'. I'm hoping that by keeping a hoop house over the plant longer, I'll be able to increase the rate of plant growth, resulting in an earlier pollination date. Of course I'll have to keep a close eye on the temp. in the hoophouse, so I don't fry the plant on the warmer days.
