Today the patch got a deep plowing. I wasn't planning on plowing, but.....I made a big mistake with a little bit too much boron. So, the Rx is deep plow, deep till and do some test germs with some boron-sensitive crops: beans and radishes....some pumpkins too of course, although they're boron tolerant. Another soil test is in order too most likely. Doh! I'm the boron moron! Fingers are crossed it'll be ok with some leaching and the deep cultivation. Worst case scenario, is I go back to my old patch for one more year.
