Here is another pic of the damaged Melon that was allowed at Anamosa yesterday. Closes melon in pic bottom left side in pic. I didn't even know I got a pic of it until it was pointed out to me by a couple other growers while I was taking it. Then I took a close up pic, (earlier post). The site judge was clearly upset with me for bringing up this issue and I went to apologize to him later on but I got a dirty look and he turned and walked off,lol. OOPS..I need to learn my place at these events I guess because when it came time to load up my melons I was ignored and received no help from any of the guys helping others load they all ignored me,lol. An awesome first time grower from Iowa helped me load up and I greatly appreciated the Help!! Still had a good time beside the hick up!!
