I asked in a earlier post about the spots on the skin, had lots of opinions and I was leaning towards it just showing squash. The outer light colored skin comes off without much effort at all, but it appears like the discoloration doesn't go into the flesh. ??

I have one pumpkin left hopefully it makes it another week
