Every year the question comes up how to measure OTT. This pic shows the three measurements.
- CC: WIDEST circumference PARALLEL to the ground (red line)
- EE: Stem end to blossom end OVER THE TOP and with the tape going straight down to the ground (ground level indicated by the yellow bars) touching the ground at a right angle (green line)
- SS: Side to side OVER THE TOP and with the tape going straight down to the ground (ground level indicated by the yellow bar) touching the ground at a right angle (blue line)
