My 235 Arnold pumpkin is starting to take an odd shape. I hope its not a virus or something. I grew a plant in this same spot last year and could never get a pumpkin set on the plant, and when I did; it started to grow very very oddly at about this point in maturity and then just stopped. The shape of the pumpkin looked like something was suddenly affecting it (like an infected plant or something). I have my fingers crossed that this is just an odd part of its growth as it gets bigger and I hope it continues to grow and fill out. fingers crossed

The 288 Buglio has now completely split its blossom in half and has a giant hole in the blossom end. It is still packing on the pounds. It was measuring at 206 pounds yesterday 8/9/15. I did take my phone and get a picture of the inside and so far, no rot. It doesn't smell yet either. Maybe it will keep going like last years. Time will tell. The other issue is none of the new kins are maturing on the plant in order to set another. I think im giving up on setting another and just going to see how big this one will get
