I tried to get a picture in the Tunnel this am with it closed up because I have been tracking days since the tunnel went up. Yesterday was the first day that I believe there was a benefit to the plants in the Tunnel. We had 70 degree temps and 35 MPH sustained winds for two hours. We had about 25 MPH winds all afternoon and evening. The plants outside got beat up really, really bad. The leaves inside still look good and the temp was 85 in the tunnel all day. In front is the 1985 Miller at day 34. I believe with our cooler climate that eventually the kins in the Tunnel will bypass the ones outside. Up until now, growing outside has been almost ideal other than one small hail storm early.
