Can't set a melon on the 123 Spencer right now. Too HOt a nd it will be hot for the next 10 to 15 days. Heat indexes around 108 to 111.
BUT......this one OPEN pollinated. Didn't see it until today
By the color and the size and based on I didn't see it when I tilled around the patch.....I say its 6 DAP. And it's 7 1/2 inches long. Bad location.
I will keep it until I can get another one set...which i doubt.
