This may be my best hope for a melon this year. This is a one day old melon I am hoping will set on my 74 Clark. It is my biggest vine right now and although the groundhogs bothered it a couple of times it's now big enough to support a melon. I have used brassinolide and ethephon on it and have also deadheaded it. The weather is very hot right now and I am going down to put some shade over it as I think that will increase the chance it will grow.
