This is a picture of the sun in the sky at 7pm tonight.
We've had really dry weather and hot for this part of the world...fires are an issue and the big ciy of Vancouver has been enveloped with smoke and ash over the past few days...in all our years in Vancouver, we've never seen smoke from wild-fires in city like we are now.
Hoping for rain, but none in sight. Watering restrictions are in full force (thankfully you can water your veggie gardens) and we are all expected to cut back on water usuage for the rest of the summer...
Patch could not be happier right now...but our forests need some rain...
