Being ahead of previous years doesn´t mean anything...none of the pumpkins pollinated between June 20th and 25th survived, the cold and rainy and cloudy weather in the last week of June made the plants deal with their own problems rather than having fun in raising a child. The pollinations between June 29th and July 3rd are looking much more promising (despite the heat we´ve had the past week).
