My own fault, didn't trim the leaf and put a protective basket over the freshly pollinated female, and a midnight skunk nibble the flower off and messed with the perfect lobes on the flower...not too bad...and totally my bad for being lazy.
We've got an owl family taking care of most of the squirrel issues and the skunks and racoons have been leaving us along since I dont use fish ferts anymore...
