I split the rest of the stump trying to follow the crack on down into the soil, sprayed it with 30 something peroxide and buried some more vines,30 minutes later it looking pretty angry. I dried it up, and covered it with sulfur also covered it with a larger piece of glass.
I bet she's a goner I hadn't pruned tips on this plant very much trying to get the plants roots bigger because of the already damaged stump.
