If you don't think hail can get inside a greenhouse, it can. This is my 1985 Miller inside the greenhouse. All three plants inside the Greenhouse got hail damage on the West side of the plant. When it is moving 70 MPH it travels almost parallel to the ground. I was gone so I couldn't get things closed up. This is one of those plants that doesn't want to grow secondaries. I get a couple of these every year, they figure it out after a while and end up being my best plants for some reason.
