1124 Dixon (1043 Chan x 1602 Glasier) is off an running. Hoop will get taken down in a few days, this plant is very heat tollerant so far, we've had stunning weather.
Andrea and I turned (double dug) the rest of the patch, and I will install overhead watering/misting systme in the next few days. I likely won't be using our holding tank for the next few weeks till the plants are bigger, but I sure like the coverage I am getting with the expanded system. I'm running 4 x 15' circle Toro 570 Shrub sprayers that give 3 gallons per minute each...works great!!
1126 Dixon (1602 Glasier x 1043 Chan) is not yet photo-worthy and I even planted a backup plant thinking that the 1126 seedling was not performing...it is fine now and only a day or 2 behind the other one.
