The soil has been levelled, the next steps are:
1. Follow with a layer of sand to get it really level.
2. Paint the top 10cm white (clean and reflective)
2. Close the bed with a single sheet of black plastic
3. Fill the bed with Coco subtrate to a minimum depth of 0.3m leaving a 0.1m white boarder.
While I was prepping this bed earlier I had a thought..... "no weeds!....there will be no weeds". Also, not that I have had soil borne diseases in the patch before but with Coco, there will be no diseases lurking, waiting to infect the pumpkin plants.
