Here's the 1622 bloom today. Looks much better, flower looks a lot more full. Possible bloom tomorrow? 923 Gerhardt at exact same stage....either the frost cloth at night is working, or the plant just decided it was time.....lets say it was the frost cloth so I look like I know what I'm doing. After contemplating zip ties, foam cups, cheese cloth, string, mesh bags....the gardeners friend the clothspin got the call....I use these things all over the garden...Clip them to a bamboo stake to mark blooms, sets, mark plants, hold my nose when someone sprays neem oil lol (I hate the smell of that stuff), not as effective when I spray Eagle ;)
