I want to try and explain the data from lifting ring experiment. BIGGER is Better. All numbers are in lbs...13" ring east 220 west 195 average 207.5...a big difference between the sides. I believe we did not have the hay bale properly rigged up for balance. 27" ring east 173 west 172 average 172.5..The 2 sides had balanced out and 27" ring had a decrease of 35 lbs side pressure over the 13". 40" Monster ring east 147 west 141 average 144...A decrease of 28.5 lbs from 27 ring and 63.5 less than 13" ring. 42.5" ring east 147 west 135 average 141 a decrease of 66.5 on 13" ring, decrease of 31.5 from 27" ring.47.5" Big Daddy ring east 126 west 131 average 128.5. Comparing this to 13" ring 79 lbs less pressure on the sides. Conclusion. Which ring do you want to trust your big pumpkin to. Results again....BIGGER is BETTER in diameter of a strong lifting ring.
