Stump from my 1985 Miller that i pulled a few days ago. I had issues keeping pumpkins on this plant, i had set 4 pumpkins and every one had blossom end splits. I do blame the splits on my non available calcium and boron in my soil which created thin walls on the blossom side. Every pumpkin that i had set on this plant had the best growth in my patch and the last pumpkin split when it ramped up to do almost 50 pounds a day and had complete blow out. The stump is huge at almost 3 feet circumference.
