My 1874.5 is only gaining about ten pounds a day now.
Even though I've had nothing but forty degree nights, a major aphid infestation and a deer that got in and ate all the new growth, I think the problem is this kink in the main vine right before the pumpkin. I've been so afraid of snapping the vine that I never could straighten it out. Going to start trying gradually again today when it gets hot.
