It is getting hard to get a good taping going.. I think my big pumpkin is now 85 85 and 144- close to 700 pounds. Pumpkin is starting to get a slight orange color so I am worried it might be getting ready to slow down growing..it has still put on about 100 pounds during the week so I am keeping fingers crossed--I planted 6 plants 2 are sick and dying--the pumpkinson them will only be about 100 pounds. One keeps aborting so I may not get anything on that one.. My last 2 plants have pumpkins in the 200 pound range and they are continuing to grow nicely but pumpkins are on secondary vines.. My main was terminated by too much heat---lesson learned for next year. I just have a feeling the other 2 pumpkins will not break 500 pounds.
