I also had to plant my Pumpkin, Squash and Cantaloupe late due to my neighbors annoying habit of spraying round-up and a herbicide in mid to late July. This year I had multiple planting dates and ran sprinklers all day the day of the spraying. It did affect some plants but even my earliest planting had bloom Aug 1-10 and I currently have pumpkin or squash on all plants. This is a picture of last years largest pumpkin in Missouri which I grew, it was the 391 Wellington. Grown in 75 days from July 16th to September 30th.
