270 Neptune x Shintosa Camelforce in my raised bed upper garden. This plant was transplanted here very late after I had to pull the 274 Kent I had growing there due to incursion onto a neighbor's lot. This plant is growing nicely now but it took a long time to get straightened out after the transplant. I just felt I had no choice but to give it a try. This bed has not been touched by the groundhogs and I think they will continue to leave it alone. Maybe I still have time to get a decent melon this year. I have been so stressed for time with my groundhog problem and lots of other things that all of my pollinations are open so far this year.
