This is a 40 inch ring that I used in testing and it bent. Have placed it on top of a pipe and 6, 5 gallon sized flower pots have been placed in the rings. Hanging baskets could be hung from the out side as in the 27 inch rings. I am sure you can come up with other ideas to make a ring useful when it is not lifting pumpkins. Just remember to remove the straps and put them in a cool dry place for storage until lifting time comes.
