Having picked off two females off the main due to damage by either a bird or slug I have now covered all the females with a chair or table etc.
It's going to be a while before I see a female in the growing tip of the 1107. A late pollination is on the cards (possibly 2 weeks) but then again the plant needs the time to bulk up after a stunted start. Bet it will be worth it in the end
