pollenated a 5 lobe on the 1744 fulk this morning with the 1217 Zappa, the first crossing of a 4 lobe didn't take ,I think the next one which was a 3.5 lobe took but I wont be keeping it, tomorrow I should have another chance to cross the Fulk.
Terminating vines started a few days ago, a few got out of hand growing past the patch.
The first pumpkin on the 1217.5 Zappa is growing nicely but doesn't have much plant behind it, the next cross didn't take, don't know yet if the third one has took but have high hopes for it.
My back hates these early morning patch visits, there's no fun to it
