This is what happens when you have too much N and try to make the S curve to fast. A cracked main required us to cut back the the next side vine and turn it around for the new main. Thankfully, we had only cut two tertiaries on that vine and it has a pumpkin that is about 12 ft from the stump. We will let the rear sides sweep forward a little more before we terminate to try and get a little more plant behind the pumpkin and hopefully this side will pick up where the main left off. I'm n ot worried, the plant has been amazing so far, all I have to do is quit screwing it up.
