This is the patch as of Saturday. It continues to rain here....a lot! I have been fighting fungus already because the plants never get a chance to dry out. Sunday it was almost dry enough to till so I did a final till near the plants removing the shade/wind/hail structures. Later this week I will do my final till along the fence lines and then the patch gets pretty much closed up. Also, later this week I will lay 2.3 Miles of Drip tape, I actually did the math, no lie. On a sad note, I lost my 1037 Jarvis Squash plant to GSB. I have never used so much Fungicide this early but it has been the wettest spring ever for us. If we don't get a dry strech I am worried I will start losing more plants as I don't think roots do well in Muck despite the best fungicides available.
