When I arrived home this evening the first thing I did was look to see if the trap had done me any good. It had not. So I started watching the garden area from a rear window of my home. Soon I saw leaves shaking on a squash plant and then saw the groundhog chomping away on the leaves. I watched him for about 20 minutes as he was at the time leaving my melon plants alone and mostly was eating leaves off plants on the edge of the woods that border my garden. I took a few pictures as I watched. I guess if I can shoot pictures of him then maybe I can shoot him with a air rifle. I went on Knoxville Craigslist and found one I hope to purchase.
