The plants are hitting on all 8 cylinders. Right on time (a week before the females, the males started blooming today). Johnathon's plant had 2 males bloom today. We removed one male from each of the 1312, 1676.5 and Johnathon's 568 tonight that were going to bloom tomorrow. I don't like letting them bloom in the patch. They attract cucumber beetles and SVBs and we use systemic insecticides, don't want to harm any bees.

We sprayed Talstar, daconil and garlic this evening, first spray for the year.

Drenched with merit and bio-nutrients today. First merit since set out 40 days ago. Jun is always when the insect pressure increases. Got to stay on top of things.
